Happy Thanksgiving From Intrinsic Health Source
Happy Thanksgiving!! Thanksgiving is the time of year in which family and friends gather together to share a big feast. Meal preparation activities and tasty traditional dishes tend to be the focus of this celebration. In the midst of all the stuff turkey and stuffed belly's, let's not forget the significance of the day is to GIVE THANKS for all the blessings we receive throughout the year.
Although being grateful should be a daily practice, this is sometimes difficult to do. We tend to focus more easily on things that frustrate, anger, or overwhelm us. I myself tend to "vent" more about my day than express gratitude. When I'm Journaling, I generally first record all that has challenged me or what frustrated me, rather than what has inspired or has added value to my life. This is not to say that I am not grateful, in fact I now make it a practice to end my journal entry with writing at least three things I was grateful for that day.
Therefore, today's blog seems like a great time for me to express how grateful I am to you, my readers, clients, friends and colleagues for making Intrinsic Health Source the great holistic health resource I have envisioned it would become. It is because of your support, that I am privileged to work in a field that I love. Each day I have the honor of helping wonderful clients, afforded the opportunity to talk to inquisitive readers and bring new insights to the field of integrative medicine and holistic healthcare.
I love this quote by Albert Schweitzer ...
"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit."
I have been very blessed with wonderful friends and family members that have inspired and supported me. However, during this past year my clients have been this igniter to my inner spirit. Clients have thanked me for helping them achieve a new insight or take a giant step towards a goal. But what they don't realize is that they have helped me just as much. They have helped me grow both as a practitioner and a person. I am grateful everyday I get to do what I love, while trying to make a difference in the lives of others.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who continue to utilize my information, who support the mission of Intrinsic Health Source and engage in a partnership to navigate a journey towards optimum wellness.
I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving and holiday weekend!
Let us give thanks to all that is good in our life...Friends, Family, Good Health and the moments that inspire and ignite that fire in our heart.
Ciao for Now!
Jeannine
